After doing my first autumn favourites post I had realised there were a couple more things I love wearing when it comes to this season. So I thought I would dedicate a second post to these products.
Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 30
This screams autumn to me this is very similar to my Mac rebel which was in my previous post however this is slightly more berry than more purple toned. I love this as this has a beautiful creamy texture which lasts all day.
Nars audacious lipstick in shade autumn leaves
This is a very different shade compared to the stereotypically colours worn. This lipstick is a sheer finish however it is totally buildable and very pigmented. This lipstick is a gorgeous burnt orange colour and I'm loving this discovery and I will be loving this throughout the rest of this season.
Loreal colour riche shade laetitas pure red
I love this lipstick as it is a very deep red and matte shade. This is very dramatic and can look good during the day and throughou the night. I feel like this can be pulled off on every skin tone.
Sleek blush in shade rose gold
The name of the blush says it all, the classic rose gold shade is perfect in autumn as metallics are a neccesity during the season. This is beautiful on the apples of the cheeks as well as being worn by itself due to its gold flecks. This is also an amazing dupe for nars blush in shade orgasm.
The balm in stain long wear powder blush in shade pinstripe
This is a gorgeous plum shade with a slight sheen of glitter throughout the blush. This is really good for continuing the deep dramatic look in the autumn time. This is perfect when pulling off a purple lipstick and can even been used as an eyeshadow.
Models own hyper gel in shade brunette red
I've just been given this yesterday whilst as work however I'm already in love with this shade. This screams autumn/winter to me as this is the perfect deep sexy red typically worn in the darker seasons. This is so glossy and long wearing and I can't wait for this to be another autumnal favourite of mine.
What better way to kick off the first autumnal post of the year using fairy lights and dogtooth as a background. This for me is one of the things that shouts autumn is finally here! This post is showing my essentials for the autumn season.
Eye shadows
2/3 shadows I have chosen for this season are cream, and the other is a water shadow. I think this is because I am a massive fan of the intense metallic shadows as I believe these go really well with the autumn colour theme.
Lipstick
When it gets to autumn there is only one colour which i think of for this season. This is the perfect berry shade which in my case is my mac lipstick in the shade 'rebel'. This is not too dark but it also had the gorgeous typical berry shade you would associate with autumn. This is also not drying as this a satin formula but it is amazing and I will wear this at all opportunity.
Face
Two things for my face one is an oldie but a goodie and one is a newbie. The oldie is the collection lasting perfection concealer I will wear this every single day when doing my everyday makeup. This is perfect for all seasons. Another essential is the nars all day luminous foundation I won't go into too much detail as this I didn't a blog post on this before this one. However this will be perfect for when the weather is getting colder as this isn't drying and it's the perfect coverage for the weather.
Nails
I am obsessed with things all copper and rose good as these are very stereotypical colours associated with autumn. However I work at models own and I have discovered the perfect colour for this season and this is the colour chrome in 'chrome rose' this is a perfect metallic rose gold colour for the autumn time.
I did it! I've finally jumped on the bandwagon and purchased the nars all day luminous foundation. I bought this foundation in the shade 'monte blanc' and thought this would be amazing to use for special occasions and events.
As soon as it arrived I had to try it out the next day! When I applied the shade was perfect and loved immediately. When blending out the foundation it didn't take much to get an even and medium coverage. What else I love about this foundation is that the coverage is totally build able if I was going somewhere for example a party I would put on a couple layers of this to make it a full coverage look. Once the base had been blended out the results were amazing! I had a flawless face yet it still looked natural and like skin, this foundation didn't cake at all which gives an amazing finish.
Overall I am very impressed with this foundation and I am so glad I choose this to be my first high end foundation. This was definitely worth the wait and the money and I can't wait to repurchase this in a tan shade.
It's getting to that time of the year when summer is almost over and you start to panic as you have so little preparation to get yourself organised for school. This post is dedicated to show my neccesities in my makeup bag which I take to school to help me through the day.
First thing is finding the perfect sized makeup bag for school. With this being for school you won't need a lot of products to fit in, I have found a perfect small flat bag which can easily slide into your school bag.
Things I have in my bag:
-foundation or bb cream
-concealer
-mascara
-lip balm
-powder
I believe these are my neccesities for going back to school as you won't be needing to reapply a whole face of makeup during school time. I will bring most of the time a bb cream as I don't need a full coverage look and it is better for my skin. I use the Rimmel radiance bb cream and it is amazing as it has enough coverage to even out the skin tone. I also pack concealer to reapply under the eyes and over blemishes if it is starting to wear off. I use collection lasting perfection as this is my holy grail product. I don't tend to wear colour when in sixth form as I don't need a dramatic look dying the week so I always carry a maybelline baby lip balm as they are really moisturising and also give a slight tint to the lips. A powder is always good to have packed in case your concealer and foundation aren't wearing off and it is to prevent any shine coming through the base.

This post is showing you how to create the perfect summer glow look, using the products above. This has become a favourite look for me over the summer as it can still be very natural due to the use of highlighter to give that dewy look.
The first step is to prep the skin after being cleansed and exfoliated and the product I will be using is the Nivea post shave balm, which makes the foundation stick to the skin to make it last longer. This is used all over and needs to be rubbed in until tacky on the skin.
After this has been done I then go in with the base which today will be the garnier by cream since the weather was nice I didn't want something heavy on my skin. This still give me colour as well as protecting my skin and hydration. This was well blended until the skin was even.
Then I went in to do the brows. I used two different products to complete this look. I first went in with an eyebrow stencil and the brow mascara by MUA this would fill in the brows as well as given an even shape. After this was done I used the collection brow palette to set the liquid on my brows. This ensured my brows had an equal shape and were filled in.
Next I did the eyes which had been primed with the urban decay primer potion in original. I then used the naked basics palette firstly using walk of shame to set the lid and even out the shade. Then going in with the naked 2 shade which is a grey toned brown all over the lid to create a light natural look. Then using the shade faint through the creased to define the lid.
Now the key part of this look is the highlight and contour I went in with the seventeen contour kit to hallow out my cheekbones and warm up the face. Then I went in with the balm Mary loumanizer highlighter and highlighter the cheek bones, brow bones, bridge of my nose, Cupid's bow and my forehead. After completing this I blended this all in to calm it down and to make it look equal and natural. Then I went over this highlight pattern with the MUA pink tone blush to give some colour to the highlight. I also went in with the urban decay powder blush in crush to give some colour to the apples of my cheeks.
The last part of this tutorial was using the Rimmel Kate moss lipstick in shade 103 to give a gorgeous natural pink shade to the lips. Then this completed the look.
As most people I am a major lover of the brand Mac Cosmetics. I believe they have amazing all round products and I am in the process of ordering some more when I have been paid! This post will be dedicated to my current lipstick collection from Mac. These lipsticks have been collected in the last couple of years and hope you enjoy reading my opinions on my the current shades I have accumlated over time.
Left to right : Soar lip liner, Rebel, New York Apple, Lady danger, Nicki Minaj Viva Glam, Twig, Velvet Teddy, Lady Gaga Viva Glam, Please Me
NUDES
I think if youre going to purchase your first Mac lipstick you should definitley go for a nude. I have quite a few nude shades from Mac as you can never go wrong with a classic nude shade. The current nude Mac shades I have in my collection are; Please Me (matte),Velvet Teddy (matte),Twig (satin), Lady Gaga Viva Glam (satin) p.s limited edition. My two most used nude shades have to be Twig and Velvet Teddy, they are both very similar in shades/looks Velvet Teddy is the perfect 90s dark nude as well as being matte it can really pull any look together. Twig creates this 90s grunge look as well but has a more creamy texture and has a more dark pink undertone. These shades are in my holy grail products and I find myself using them both practically everyday.
REDS
I found myself going off red lipsticks for a very long time after I wore them all the time, I am still off put by blue toned reds at the minute. However my most recent lipstick from Mac has made me fall in love with a classic red lip. I have just purchased Lady Danger (matte) on payday after the hunt for a perfect orange toned red for the summer. Like I said this lipstick is the perfect shade for summer especially with the orange undertone. I also found this looks amazing with golden eyes to tie in the summery feel. I have also another red shade New York Apple (frost), which I bring out for the christmas season as with is being a frost finish it have slight glitter flecks in the lipstick but not overwhelming. This is the perfect christmas red and also looks amazing on porcelian skin.
DRAMATIC
From time to time when i'm not feeling a dramatic eye look I really make up for it when a pop of colour on the lip. I have two bright/dramatic shades from Mac one is Rebel (satin) which is a deep purple which i'm currently rediscovering as it's coming to the end of Summer and we are now transitioning into Autumn. Another bright shade is Nicki Minaj Viva Glam (matte) (also limited edition) which is a bright fuschia/coral shade. What I like about this shade that it's totally buildable and you can intensify as much as you like.

I thought I would dedicate my first post to something which are now becoming a daily neccesity in my makeup routine. Which what you can see are the eyeshadow palettes from Urban Decay. Although they come off very pricey they definitley show high quality and have a range of colours for each individual/skin tone.
THE NAKED SERIES
The first set of palettes I want to talk about in this post is nothing other than the classic Naked Palettes. These are highly raved about in the makeup world and the majority of makeup fanatics will already have these.
I had only bought Naked 1 not long ago after seeing debehams had their beauty event on! I have become obsessed with this palette because of the gorgeous neutrals and the colours suitable to create smokey eyes.
Naked 2 was kindly given as a present by my two friends. This was also my first naked palette, which is also my favourite one! Naked 2 has gorgeous golden metallic browns as well deeper evening shades for example the black shade which is amazing for a smoky look.
Naked 3 is probably the most neglected out of the naked series as it contains a lot of pinks, which they aren't in my daily makeup look. I tend to forget about this palette due to the shades however when I play around with it I can get some amazing looks which look beautiful in the spring time, and they look beautiful ok pale/porcelain skin.
My latest to my collection as well as the naked series is the Naked Smoky palette. This has been a new favourite of mine and has helped me create an array of different looks as well as deepen my love for a classic smoky eye. This also has a different brush compared to the othe palettes it has a smudger brush as well as a fluffy blending brush which is amazing for intensifying the smoky look.
NAKED BASICS
As well as the Naked palette series I have purchased the Naked Basics palette. I love how universal this palette is. This palette contains all matte shades as well as having the perfect under eye yellow shade to brighten the eyes after concealing. There is also the perfect matte browns to use as an eyebrow powder.
VICE PALETTE
Last but not least in my urban decay palette collection is my vice 2 palette. This is slightly different to the other palettes I have purchased. The vice palette contains all shimmer shades and has a range of 20 colours. This palette has more brights with the odd neutral, however these colours blend really nicely with a darker colour and look amazing as a lower lash pop of colour.
